A Demon Within is an exceptional horror map that we absolutely recommend trying out if you’re a fan of the horror map category and are looking for a top tier map that promises to deliver a truly immersive experience that’ll have you hooked from the first minute to the last. The map manages to take all of the great things that have defined top tier horror maps over the years, and it then combines them all into one neat package for players to enjoy. Of course, it goes without saying that, much like most other horror maps, A Demon Within isn’t really for the faint-hearted, so you should definitely be prepared for tons upon tons of creepy moments if you choose to try it out.

The plot and setting of A Demon Within is loosely based on the renowned top tier horror games such as Outlast and Alien Isolation so, if you’ve played any of these games before, you’ll feel quite familiar with the setting of A Demon Within. In this map, you wake up in a strange place that seems to twist and turn with every second and, on top of all this, it seems that a demon is chasing you and won’t stop until it has hunted you down. You must run and utilize any tactics at your disposal to avoid the demon for as long as possible.

The gameplay of A Demon Within is quite intense because you won’t have access to a lot of tools or equipment and will have to make do with the minimal amount of resources at your disposal as you try to evade the demon who’s ruthlessly chasing you down. The map’s quite solid on a technical level, and it even has an anti-cheat system that prevents players from utilizing unfair means in order to complete it. All things considered, A Demon Within is an extraordinary horror map that does not cease to impress.
