Arcility Resource Pack for Minecraft 1.8.9/1.8

Arcility is a relatively old resource pack that came out around three years ago and is still going strong. Normally, most traditional packs don’t really last that long since there are so many of them available but this particular pack has managed to keep itself popular over the years, and this is primarily thanks to the fact that it seems constant updates by the creator, so it’s almost always in-line with all modern day resource pack standards. In terms of design, Arcility is essentially a complete overhaul of Minecraft’s textures and has been made to make the game look more immersive without compromising on the vanilla art style.

Arcility does a stellar job of remaking Minecraft’s original textures by doing so it makes the game look considerably more immersive. Although the pack tries to stay true to the vanilla style of the textures, it isn’t afraid to implement a few unique features of its own so you’ll definitely run into a few magic and fantasy oriented textures and visuals from time to time and these specific textures give the pack a very unique look. The pack also features some remade sound effects that sound significantly better than their vanilla counterparts.

It’s worth mentioning that Arcility is one of the few resource packs that don’t really require MCPatcher in order to function, but it’s still recommended that you use it because MCPatcher enhances the pack’s look quite significantly. The resolution of Arcility’s textures is 64×64 which isn’t the highest out there, but it’s still more than enough to allow for the highly detailed textures that this pack tries to implement. As for the technical side of things, the pack seems fairly smooth and any bugs that do surface tend to get eliminated quite quickly.
