The goal of the BitBetter is to take all the default textures that vanilla Minecraft has to offer and then transform them into much better versions of themselves. There have definitely been tons of packs before BitBetter that serve the same purpose, but there are lots of different things that make this particular pack stand out and perhaps the biggest factor being the fact that it’s one of the most up to date packs out there. The pack came out back in 2014 and, even today, it sees updates on a regular basis that keep it in-line with modern day standards.
The textures of the BitBetter are absolutely loaded with detail, and there’s not a single out of place texture in this pack. The item models are particularly impressive because they all have an intriguing 3D effect accompanying them. The pack’s environmental textures such as the grass, stone and what not are some of its biggest highlights because they’re a delight to look at. The pack features a variety of custom add-ons as well that elevate the visuals to a whole new level such as custom colors, sky, and even lighting. The lighting effects, in combination with the breathtaking textures, make for a visual experience that you shouldn’t miss out.
The BitBetter resource pack has a resolution of 64×64, and this is definitely surprising because, at first sight, one would think that it has a much higher resolution due to how detailed its textures look. The resolution isn’t all that high, but you’ll still need a fairly beefy PC in order to run the pack without running into frame-rate issues.
