The C4Lib mod is actually a kind of library of different works by C4, more of a collection than a single mod on its own. It is essentially a number of essential files, scripts and other information which helps other mods from the C4 Team to work as directed; a utility rather than a mod. In fact, the C4Lib won’t do much at all for you unless you have the other mods installed. That said, if you aren’t using Equivalence, Talismans2 or BetterBedrockGen, the odds are good you’ve never heard of C4 and you wouldn’t benefit at all from downloading this mod anyhow.
If you are using any of the previous mods, then it’s highly likely you already have the C4Lib mod installed somewhere, as it is necessary for each of them to function. This mod and the mods which it supports are all relatively new, having been developed and released in the last year or so, and this means a couple things. First, not many players have a lot of experience with them, so finding support can be a bit tricky. Second, because they are so new, they generally work well with the latest version of Minecraft, so you won’t be forced to play the game using an older client version.
All of the mods tied into the C4Lib mod are also compatible with Minecraft Forge, so installing each of them (and this mod itself) is simple stuff, just pointing and clicking while Forge does all the hard work. Again, because this mod is necessary to the function of those other mods, if you already have them installed, you should be familiar with this. If you don’t, then you have no reason to get this mod in the first place. Therefore, this mod has the potential to be very useful, but only in limited ways.
