Clash of Mobs Mod for Minecraft 1.8

Clash of Clans is a fun game and was also the inspiration behind the Clash of Clans Mod for Minecraft. That mod was fairly popular – so much so that someone else came up with a Clash of Mobs mod to mirror it. This newer mod is still in the Alpha development phase as it was just recently spawned, so it’s not yet at the point of functionality which the original mod has already reached. Nevertheless the author is making large strides. Clash of Mobs is designed to work with the latest versions of both Minecraft and Forge, so using each will help make it work better.

Although the Clash of Mobs mod isn’t finished, a lot of work has been done already. The mod adds several Clash of Clans troops including the barbarian, archer, giant and wizard. There are even vehicles like the hot air balloon and wall breaker which mobs can jump into and use to travel around faster. Some special armor and items are also implemented already, as well as a custom biome made specifically for this type of gameplay. Plans for the immediate future include more mobs, more models and the inferno tower, which is another type of siege weapon.

Fans of the Clash of Clans game will probably love this mod, as will those Minecraft players who are bored with the current PvP experience and are looking for something more intense and exciting. In the Clash of Mobs mod, the action doesn’t stop until every clan has been wiped out except for one, and the last man standing at the end of it all is the winner. Though once all the fortresses have been busted and everybody and everything has been killed off, what is there really left to win? If you want fast-paced combat action in Minecraft, this mod is worth getting.
