The Cloud Walk map is an innovative survival map in which, instead of being placed in a generic place like an abandoned building or an isolated island, players are instead taken to the skies that are filled with clouds that you’ll be navigating over. The unique concept actually works out quite well with the overall survival type gameplay which makes this a very refreshing map that’s definitely worth looking into if you’re an avid player of survival maps. It has been out for less than a month and has already been downloaded over 5,000 times in this time frame which is quite impressive.
In order to move through the Cloud Walk, you’ll basically have to walk on the 3×3 wool platforms that it’ll automatically generate for you. Of course, it’s worth keeping in mind that you have no influence on where exactly these platforms will spawn so you kind of have to go through whichever route the map decides to take you through. The clouds spawn through the cloud walk generator, so it’s paramount that you don’t let anything happen to it otherwise the entire map will pretty much fall apart.
As you navigate through the clouds of Cloud Walk, you’ll also have to duel various kinds of enemies and locate resources that will help you progress further. Most of the mobs are pretty standard, but there are three special cloud type mobs which are the Cloud Warrior, the Cloud Archer and even the Living Cloud. The cloud-based mobs are actually pretty tough to deal with, so you’ll have to play at your absolute best if you want to make it through them. The map doesn’t have any major bugs other than the fact that sometimes clouds spawn directly below you whenever you jump off a platform which makes the jump impossible but this bug doesn’t occur often so it won’t have a major impact on your experience.
