Command blocks in Minecraft are a beautiful thing. The only issue with command blocks is keeping them organized once you’ve programmed several for your server or single player map. This is compounded by the fact that many command blocks actually contain more than one command, so it can be difficult to figure out where to keep them even if you are trying to sort them. The Command Groups Mod takes care of this hassle by doing the sorting for you. To really use the mod effectively you will need to first become familiar with the hotkeys, so here they are.
The M key will open up the command group manager. This lets you sort your command blocks into groups and make adjustments as you wish. B will toggle command blocks on and off, which is great for finding specific blocks which are causing crashes or other problems. C toggles protection for the command block, which will prevent it from being broken or harvested by an exploding creeper or player. X toggles visibility, which is great if you just want to put your command blocks up in the sky and make them invisible. N will toggle whole groups of blocks on and off for you.
The Command Groups Mod gives users unprecedented control over their different command blocks, and what’s more than that is the fact it makes sorting, managing and moving the blocks easier than ever before. Mapmakers will be surprised at this mod and wonder how they ever did their complicated projects without it. Even newer players will immediately be able to see that using this mod to manage their command blocks is far superior to the methods which are inherent to Minecraft. If you want to see it for yourself, just download the mod and give it a try.
