The purpose of the Cosmetic Armor Reworked mod is to allow players to have two different sets of armor, one for the actual statistics and one for the visual outlook. Most people will agree that while Minecraft has some pretty strong armor items that can give the characters a pretty big boost in their beefiness, these sets still look pretty unappealing, so the character doesn’t really look that good when they’re equipped. Fortunately, this won’t be an issue any longer with this mod because you’ll be able to decide the way your character looks without worrying about things like stats.
To use the Cosmetic Armor Reworked mod, simply hit the C key to bring up the cosmetic armor inventory that this mod implements. The key can be rebinded to anything you prefer, and you can also simply hit the button that this mod adds to the default inventory to open the cosmetic armor menu. On the left of this menu you’ll see the regular armor slots and on the right, you’ll see the cosmetic armor slots. In the regular slots, you can equip the best armor you have no matter how it looks because it won’t alter the way your character looks and then on the right you can equip the armor that you want your character to display visually.
The Cosmetic Armor Reworked mod by ZLainSama is basically a rework of the original Cosmetic Armor mod. The reason behind the rework is that the original version of this mod was quite buggy and that made it difficult for the players to enjoy it, alongside this there’s also the fact that the developer of the original hasn’t updated it for quite a while, so it’s likely that the bugs are going to stay there forever. Therefore, if you were a fan of the original and would like a version of it without all the issues, then the Cosmetic Armor Reworked is the way to go.
