Creepermite Mod for Minecraft 1.8/1.7.10

If you’ve ever tried the Endermite mod before, then you already know what to expect from the Creepermite mod. Just like the Endermite mod, Creepermite adds another itty bitty version of a popular monster to Minecraft – creepers in this case. Just like their fully grown counterparts, the mini creepers will first hiss and then explode seconds later whenever they get close enough to you or another player character on the server. They blow up the environment, buildings and other blocks when they detonate too, also just like their larger, creepier compatriots. They’re fast, destructive and hard to see.

Those factors all make the mini creepers more dangerous overall than normal creepers. Of course, creepers are already pretty annoying as things are, so many players will probably scoff at the Creepermite mod and ignore it entirely. It’s not like the mod adds any other content to the game either. All you get here are the mini creepers which will make your life that much harder. This makes Creepermite a good mod if you want to make your time on Minecraft harder to survive, but then not everybody is looking for that added challenge.

The mini creepers can actually crawl right through spaces which are a single block tall thanks to their smaller stature and shorter height. This means they can jump up and climb through broken or missing windows, as well as move through other spaces that might normally be monster-proof. You might have to change up the way you construct your buildings just to deal with this. Alternatively you could just elevate your home and other construction and build a set of stairs leading up, then lock those off with a gate of some sort. If you’re already in the habit of doing this, the Creepermite mod shouldn’t bug you.
