Default HD v2.0 is a resource pack that allows players to enjoy the vanilla Minecraft experience but with a whole lot more detail added into the mix. The art style of Minecraft has always been one of its biggest highlights because it’s quite unique and, therefore, refreshing to look at. However, the textures of vanilla Minecraft lack the detail necessary to be considered truly high quality and this is a resource pack that aims to change this. We highly recommend trying the Default HD v2.0 resource pack out if you enjoy the style of vanilla Minecraft but want to experience it with more detail.
The main selling point of the Default HD v2.0 is, of course, the fact that it features some extremely well-detailed textures and, from what we’ve seen, it’s certainly safe to say that the textures in this pack are some of the best we’ve seen as far as vanilla themed textures are concerned. The level of detail blew us away and, alongside this, another thing we like a lot about this pack is the fact that its textures aren’t noisy at all. The lack of noise in the textures makes them look incredibly smooth and, therefore, extremely appealing to look at.
The Default HD v2.0 resource pack has a relatively high resolution of x128, so it goes without saying that you’ll definitely need a computer with above average hardware if you hope to run the pack without frame-rate issues. It’s also worth noting that the Default HD v2.0 pack has quite a few 3D models that make it even more demanding on system resources.
