Disarm the Bomb Map 1.8.9

If you’re tired of mindlessly jumping around on countless parkour maps in Minecraft, you might be in the mood for a decent brain teaser instead. Disarm the Bomb is a puzzle map that pits the player against an explosive charge that’s set to blow. Well, there are actually 10 bombs in total, one for each of the 10 rooms that make up the map. Each bomb is defused differently, and the challenge on this map comes from figuring out how to turn off all 10 bombs without getting blown to smithereens while fiddling with any particular bomb.

Though Disarm the Bomb map might sound like the kind of map that would be lots of fun for multiple players, the fact is that it’s only for solo play. That’s going to be a little disappointing for all the people who want to blow up their friends, but the map is still lots of fun, even if you have to go it alone. Thankfully, each of the bombs waits to start counting down until you start moving in each room, so you have a little time to check your surroundings and figure out a plan of action before starting each of the 10 rounds.
