The original DokuCraft has been redone, revised and totally remade too many times now to keep track of all the variations which can be found on the Internet. As the name suggests, the DokuCraft Dwarven resource pack features textures, colors and patterns you might expect to find in some underground mountain castle, or in other places one could reasonably expect to discover dwarves. Everything in Minecraft is changed by this resource pack, from the textures for held items to their icons in the user’s inventory to all of the blocks in the surrounding world. This pack is really quite thorough.
The changes extend far past the scope of your inventory and storage spaces as well. Many of the most common blocks used for building homes, like various wood blocks and planks, cobblestone and carpeting all have this sort of embossed detailing which makes them look like some master craftsman spent hours working on every piece. Apparently the dwarves really love their doors too since DokuCraft Dwarven replaces all the original door textures in Minecraft with more detailed, higher resolution models. It’s really a beautiful thing to see for the first time, especially the different quartz textures.
Despite the low 32x resolution, the DokuCraft Dwarven resource pack manages to really pack on the details, making for some textures that look like they belong in packs with two to three times more detail and resolution. It’s really a kind of miracle to see, but rather than reading over these words why don’t you go ahead and check it out for yourself? The art style is definitely a unique one, and though some players say it looks great others are going to hate it as soon as they see it.
