Many custom Minecraft maps are actually made to emulate other popular games, allowing players to play those games in a Minecraft world. The Eating Blocks map is a good example of this, and even the older readers out there will undoubtedly recognize some similarities between this map and the Pac-Man video game series. The objective is for players to roll around in the space of a confined map, picking up little objects that count for points and add to your total score. In this sense, it’s just like the little yellow circle guy cruising through mazes and eating dots.
Besides the common dot objects, you will also occasionally find fruit or other tasty treats which give you more points than those single dots you’ll spend most of your time chasing. Eating Blocks is absolutely a single player map, and trying to play it with other people will probably either break the map or have all of you spawning in the middle of nowhere, far away from the actual entertainment. Make sure you enjoy Eating Blocks alone if you want to enjoy it at all. It seems like adding support for multiple players and giving them control of the “ghosts” might work, but this map is for solo play only right now.
