Essence Powder Mod for Minecraft 1.11/1.10.2/1.9.4

To put things simply, the Essence Powder Mod allows you to use the implemented essence powder to create copies or clones of existing ores. By duplicating your ores with this powder, you can create more resources even when you’ve already run out of places to go mining. Though this shouldn’t normally happen in Minecraft, it’s a distinct possibility when playing on survival islands or skyblocks, so don’t scoff at this mod just yet. On an interesting note, the Essence Powder Mod comes with language support for German as well as English, so any Deutsch out there should be able to use it with ease.

The first thing you’ll need is a mortar and pestle to start grinding up agents for powders. You can reduce coal, iron, gold, even diamonds and other non-ore resources like leather into a basic, powdery form. Four powders of the same type will make a powder block of the corresponding type, like using coal powder to make coal powder blocks. Smelting a powder block will yield an actual resource block – like you could smelt an iron powder block, made from four iron ores, to get an iron block, yielding 9 iron ingots and definitely getting more out than you put into the process.

In this way, the Essence Powder Mod is actually kind of broken. It allows you to create a near infinite supply of resources, but only if you can find the ores to break down into powder in the first place. Some players would probably call it cheating if you used this mod, and you’ll have a hard time finding any online servers with this mod implemented. But that’s not stopping anyone from using the Essence Powder Mod during solo play when they are alone. It’s a very useful mod, but it has the potential to be a very broken mod too.

This mod requires Minecraft Forge and can be gotten from here!

1. Backup your world!
2. Install Minecraft Forge using its installer.
3. Add Essence Powder Mod file to your mods folder in your Minecraft directory (.minecraft/mods)
4. Play!
