FastLadder Mod for Minecraft 1.8.9/1.8

The FastLadder mod is one of those extremely clever mod that make the entire Minecraft experience tenfold better with a simple addition. You can probably tell from its name what it’s designed for, but there’s no need to worry if not because we’ll tell you all about it. Simply put, if you’re someone who’s fed up of the relatively slow paced ladder climbing/descending speeds in Minecraft then the FastLadder is something that you’ll love because it speeds up the whole process of climbing a ladder or descending from it which can save you a very significant amount of time, especially when going down things like mineshafts.

The FastLadder does what it does by implementing new ladders to the game. There are a total of three ladders; Fast Ladder, Faster Ladder, and the Fastest Ladder. The ladders enhance the climbing speed by 1.5x, 2x and 2.5x respectively so you can pick out the one that you feel would be best suited to your preferences and likings. Of course each ladder needs to be crafted before use and the mod comes fully equipped with the recipes necessary to craft these extremely useful things. Keep in mind though that the Fastest ladder can be rather difficult to craft due to the high-end ingredients that it requires, but it’s definitely worth it because of the time it will save later on.

One of the best things about the FastLadder mod is that it doesn’t have any kinds of compatibility issues with texture packs so whether you’re running vanilla Minecraft or have a different pack installed, you’ll still be able to enjoy the mod as it was intended to. It’s worth remembering though that the FastLadder mod requires you to have ModUtilsLib installed beforehand in order for it to function so as long as you have this installed, you need not worry about anything else.
