Find the Diamond Map for Minecraft 1.8.9

The objective of the Find the Diamond Map is probably already obvious to you due to its name. It’s a very intriguing map that not only provides fast-paced parkour but alongside that it also adds a fun item finding element into the mix that adds a good bit of depth to the gameplay and makes it feel much more refreshing which is rather important nowadays due to the high influx of parkour maps. It’s still a very fresh map since it came out less than a week ago and ever since its release it has received a good bit of critical acclaim which is definitely a testament to its quality.

The design of Find the Diamond significantly different from that of your average parkour maps. Instead of going through multiple different levels as quickly as you can without looking back even once, you’ll instead be forced to thoroughly examine your surroundings and search for the diamonds that they hold. There are a total of eighteen diamonds in this map that you need to find, and once you have all these diamonds, you’ll be able to combine them into two diamond blocks that you can then utilize to finish the map. It’s a pretty unique concept and definitely makes the gameplay very enjoyable.

In terms of challenge, Find the Diamond isn’t too difficult but at the same time it isn’t too easy either so it kind of lies somewhere in the middle of the pack. While the whole aspect of finding diamonds adds some extra content into the gameplay, it doesn’t really make it any more challenging since the diamonds are relatively easy to find and aren’t that deeply hidden. Overall, if something fresh and innovative is what you seek then Find the Diamond is definitely a map that you’ll be impressed with.
