The Flexible Tools mod implements special tools into the world of Minecraft that give players an actual sense of progression as they use them. Over the years, video games have utilized various concepts to make the in-game equipment feel like more than a bundle of stats and one creative way to do this is by giving the equipment some form of progression system that keeps making it better as players use it. The Flexible Tools implements a variety of items into the game that utilize a similar progression system and these items actually make the game quite enjoyable and make it worthwhile for players to stick with one set of items instead of making the jump to the next as soon as it becomes available.
The Flexible Tools mod implements a flexible variant of all the commonly used weapons, and tools of Minecraft such as the Sword, Axe, Shovel and Pickaxe and each one of these items has the aforementioned progression system. These items, at the beginning, are as strong as diamond items are but, as you keep using them over and over again, they’ll keep becoming even stronger so, as long as you stick with these items for a good while, they’re sure to become incredibly powerful.
One of the best things about the Flexible Tools mod is the fact that it implements a sleek and intuitive user interface that keeps track of all the upgrades that players give their items as time goes by. The updates can be determined thanks to an extremely well thought out color coding system that gives the item icons a different color depending on the upgrades that they’ve gone through. Overall, Flexible Tools is a creative and extremely well-designed mod that adds special kinds of progression focused items into the game.
