FloodLights Mod

FloodLights is an extremely creative mod that’s been designed to remedy one of the biggest issues that players face in Minecraft. During the daytime, lighting isn’t an issue since the whole world is fully lit up. However, when night time in Minecraft rolls around, players have a lot of difficulty navigating around the world or simply just looking up at a structure that they’ve built because it’s not lit up. Usually, the lighting issue at night is fixed by setting up a ton of light blocks, but this is a very tedious and lengthy process that one would much rather avoid. FloodLights has been designed to get rid of all lighting related issues that players face at night time.

As the name suggests, the FloodLights mod adds floodlights into Minecraft. There are two different kinds of floodlights, regular electric lights as well as carbon based lights. These lights can be powered up through RF, UE or EU. All you need to do is set one up, and it’ll light up an immense area of the game world completely. You can dye the lights as well, and in order to do so, you’ll have to the right click them with the dyes equipped. If you don’t like how a particular dye worked out, then it can be removed by using wool.

The FloodLights mod comes with three modes for each light. Straight, narrow and wide cone. You can adjust the mode of the light according to the situation, and each mode seems to work just fine and doesn’t have any technical problems. The FloodLights mod is fully configurable as well since you can customize the power usage, range and various other factors of the lights exactly according to your preferences through the in-game configuration. Overall, FloodLights is an incredibly useful mod that’ll definitely come in handy when night strikes in Minecraft.

How do you craft them? How do you use them? How am I supposed to config them?
Everything I could do was to place the non-electric floodlight and fill it with coals… it consumed coals but did nothing, and the showed remaining time was still 0m0s…
