HudCraft Resource Pack for Minecraft 1.8.4

The HudCraft resource pack, also known as 12Break3’s Texture Pack to some, is pretty amazing. Not only does it have a sleek and unique look to its textures, but it also manages to make Minecraft look even blockier somehow. You’ll really notice this in the visuals for tree leaves as well as the wood itself, depending on the type of tree. Some blocks have also been simplified by completely saturating them with a single color. Grassy dirt is just a massive, solid green block, for instance. This can make it difficult to figure out what some textures actually are in the first few minutes after installing this.

If you’re looking for updated mobs then HudCraft is probably going to disappoint you. While many monsters seem to look a bit grumpier with their small scowls, this pack does literally nothing else to change their appearance, and only the zombie pig men really look any different. Textures for friendly mobs are literally ripped from Minecraft and copied here, though they may be replaced at some time in the future. Also, and this isn’t really too bad, you’ll need Optifine for the connected glass textures to display properly in HudCraft. Otherwise, they kind of look worse than vanilla glass.

The HudCraft resource pack does some things other packs just don’t. For instance, it replaces the texture for the fully drawn bow with one having a different color from the normal bow texture, so players have a strong visual signal when they’re ready to shoot for maximum distance. This is actually such a nice feature some people might call it cheating, but those people are probably the same ones you will have just shot, so don’t pay them any mind!
