Irenicraft Resource Pack for Minecraft 1.8.9/1.8

Irenicraft is a resource pack for Minecraft that displays a really high level of finesse. Its purpose is to refine the look of Minecraft and enhance it in a bunch of different ways. It removes a ton of the unnecessary noise and clutter that’s usually present in the default Minecraft colors, and this makes the game look much more visually appealing. The Irenicraft resource pack also tries to make things look sharper and glossier while making sure that they don’t become a bit too cartoon-ish. It was released around two years ago and ever since then the developer has done an excellent job of keeping it maintained and up to date.

What’s most impressive about Irenicraft is that while it makes a whole lot of changes to the game’s visuals, it still does a phenomenal job of preserving and maintaining the default look that defines Minecraft. The pack hits pretty much every single texture that the game has to offer, and it does an excellent job of cleaning these textures up while making sure not to alter their core look. The game looks much sleeker and smoother with this pack installed but it still looks like Minecraft, and that’s most important. Alongside the in-game textures, this pack also improves the style of the GUI as well.

Irenicraft runs at a resolution of x64 which is fairly high and allows for some pretty crisp visuals, but it also means that you’ll need a fairly beefy rig to run it at its fullest potential. Sure you might be able to get it to run on a low-end PC, but you’ll probably have to suffer a whole lot of stuttering so it’s recommended that you run this pack only if your machine can support it.
