Similar to the Dropper series of maps, Jump or Die is a parkour map which features lots of long, probably fatal falls that the player needs to navigate and survive in order to clear the level and move on to the next course. The map features 20 unique levels, along with a course almost 800 blocks in length. Unlike the Dropper maps which are all about falling down, there’s actually a lot of jumping, climbing and moving upward in Jump or Die, so it’s not exactly like the Dropper maps. The map culminates in a section requiring you to pull off 50 consecutive jumps.
That would be hard for anybody, but Jump or Die will prove impossible to beat for those who don’t already know a thing or two about parkour. Be sure to take advantage of the SHIFT key when jumping at the edges of blocks, since it will stop you from falling off of some blocks you would otherwise never be able to make it to. Quad jumps are a regular thing in Jump or Die, and redstone circuits, slime blocks and other features help to spice up the course and make it more than just running from point A to point B.
