Levitation Trials is an exciting parkour map that implements a variety of new gameplay mechanics into the traditional gameplay formula in order to make for an enjoyable and exhilarating experience that parkour fanatics shouldn’t miss out on. Before going into any further detail about the map, we want to point out that Levitation Trials is quite unlike traditional parkour maps, and this is why we don’t really recommend playing it until you’ve had your fair share of experience with traditional parkour maps and have developed a solid understanding of the basics of this particular map category.

The key thing that sets the Levitation Trials map apart from traditional parkour maps is the fact that it implements the idea of levitation into the gameplay. The map has a variety of long distance jumps and highly placed blocks that you won’t be able to reach normally so, in order to reach these blocks, you’ll need to utilize the levitation features that this mod has to offer. In order to acquire levitation powers, you’ll have to utilize the redstone clock. This clock will give you levitation for 16 ticks, but you’ll need to keep in mind that, after these 16 ticks, the levitation abilities will be removed for 8 ticks so you probably shouldn’t attempt any difficult jumps during this time.

There are twenty different levels in the Levitation Trials map, and these levels have been spread out across three different hubs. It’s important to keep in mind that you’ll need to fully complete the first hub before getting access to the second hub and a similar case applies to the third hub as well. There are plenty of levels but what’s most impressive is the fact that each one of them feels unique. Overall, Levitation Trials is a top notch map that promises to deliver a unique experience to anyone who has the pleasure of trying it out.
