The Tron franchise is probably among the most popular franchises out there and Life on the Grid is a resource pack that’s been inspired directly by it. There’s just something about the art style of the Tron franchise that makes it a delight to look at. The flashy lights, the contrasting yet cohesive colors, the sci-fi visuals and a whole bunch of other stuff. However, as popular as the Tron franchise is, we haven’t really seen much Tron based content developed for Minecraft but, thankfully, the Life on the Grid resource pack changes this. It’s an awesome pack that does an excellent job of replicating Tron based visuals within Minecraft.
The Life on the Grid resource pack changes a lot of Minecraft objects entirely and, while some players might not be particularly fond of such massive changes, it’s important to keep in mind that these changes are necessary because there are various distinct visual elements in Tron that define the franchise in the first place and these need to be implemented somehow. As for most of the textures, they’re very well detailed and feature the same engaging color palette that this entire franchise has always been known for.
One issue we noticed in some of Life on the Grid’s textures is the fact that they have a bit of noise in them but, fortunately, these noise issues only occur in a few textures so they likely won’t hinder your experience all that much. The Life on the Grid resource pack has a resolution of x16 so it probably won’t bother you much when it comes to frame-rate as it’ll run quite smoothly.
