LotsOMobs Mod for Minecraft 1.8/1.7.10

The LotsOMobs mod adds a slew of new interactive mobs to the world of Minecraft – 43 total, to be precise. Along with new animals like wooly mammoths, lions, hammerhead sharks and others, this mod also adds a number of new biomes appropriate to the new mobs. Overall, this is one of the biggest mods you can find for Minecraft, and one of those which do more to change the look and feel of the game than about 95% of the other mods available. It goes without saying that this mob is big, so players will need some powerful computers to run the game with this addition installed.

With new mobs, biomes, items, construction blocks and other entities, the LotsOMobs mod is one of a kind. It doesn’t just stop enhancing your Minecraft experience there though – there are also custom sound effects to go with all the other new custom things, and these add another layer to the sense of immersion given by this mod. LotsOMobs works with Minecraft versions up to 1.7.10, so it isn’t compatible with the latest release of the game, but there are plans in the works now to fix that sometime soon. Check out the creator’s website at www.larsmods.com for more information about that.

To get this working you will need forge on the same version as the mod. Exp. forge for 1.8 and the mod for 1.8. To get both these working its best to google and watch a video on how to install forge and mods as this will provide a better idea of how vs reading some random post.
