Most of the time, epic fights against legendary villains are just the stuff of fiction and fairy tales. They either never actually happened, or if they did, the facts surrounding them end up so exaggerated by generation after generation of people telling the same story that they eventually become unbelievable. The Man vs. Myth map for Minecraft allows players to enjoy an epic fight of their own – against none other than Herobrine, the de facto villain of Minecraft. It’s a very interesting map featuring lots of modified content like special player classes and skills unique to those classes.
The Man vs. Myth map plays out a lot like the Saxton Hell game mode in Team Fortress 2. A bunch of players team up against a single big baddy, and while Herobrine can pretty much kill everyone in a single hit, it’s still possible for the players to overwhelm and overcome the great foe. Be sure to give Herobrine the appropriate amount of health at the start of the game by pressing the corresponding button, or else he will be incredibly weak and it will make for a short, quick game. Of course, this might actually be ideal if you’re playing with a group of friends which has never tried the map before.
