Mario Mashup Resource Pack for Minecraft 1.10

2828

The Minecraft Wii U Edition Mario Mashup Pack, Mario Mashup Pack for short, is a resource pack that, as the name suggests, is based off the hugely popular Super Mario game series. It’s important to note that this is actually a port of the Wii U version of this pack that came out fairly recently. Developer W4HdaB3ST has done a top notch job of porting all the elements off the Wii U variant onto the PC version so you’ll hardly notice any elements missing from the pack. However, it’s worth bearing in mind that some textures don’t really look that good after being ported, but work is being done on them to make sure that they synergize properly with all the rest.

Overall, the Mario Mashup Pack is a sight to behold. It has a lot of elements that you’ll remember from the Super Mario games such as the carnivorous plants and the strange hills that had eyes on them. Much like the game that it’s been based on, the pack has a very bright and vibrant color palette that does an excellent job of making sure that all the textures look lively.

The Mario Mashup Resource Pack for the PC carries over all the blocks from the Wii U variant, but some items are still missing so from time to time you might see the default textures of certain items. The pack’s resolution is 16×16, so there isn’t a lot of room to implement a really high level of detail in the textures, but the textures still look quite impressive because of their clean art style and bright colors. The user-interface has also seen a few alterations but nothing too significant.
