Mike Dongles is an insanely useful mod that features a pretty large collection of tools and items that have been designed specifically to make your Minecraft experience more convenient and enjoyable. The mod isn’t really a full-fledged game changer since it doesn’t add any new over the top functionality to the gameplay but, in spite of this, it’s still worth having because the tools and utilities that it adds to the game are incredibly useful and you’ll probably use them quite a lot once you finally get the hang of how they all work.
It’s worth mentioning that the Mike Dongles isn’t really limited to just items and tools. The mod brings some minor functionality changes to the mix as well, for example, the ability to harvest things like Cocoa Beans, Melons, Pumpkins, Beetroots, and Potatoes, etc. with a simple click. Onto the items, the mod features a crop dongle that can be used to conveniently plant seeds immediately in a 3×3 area, a wet sponge that can convert cobblestone and stone into mossy versions of themselves, a dirt dongle that cleans a pretty massive 51x25x51 area and even a watering dongle that can be used to easily water plants and make them grow significantly quicker. Alongside all this, the Mike Dongles also comes with an insanely useful elixir that’ll immediately cure you if you’ve been poisoned.
On top of all these things, the Mike Dongles has some fun little audio focused features as well. For example, there’s an MLG horn that you can play by pressing L in-game and a Sad Trombone that you can play by pressing K in-game. Of course, these items won’t really do anything to change the gameplay, but they’re definitely nice to have because they make things more enjoyable and give players something to do when they aren’t preoccupied with something else.
