It’s hard to envision a Minecraft mod which would be made specifically for the elderly. Fortunately, someone has already made it and so you don’t have to imagine what it looks like. The Minecramp Mod emulates what it would be like to play in Minecraft as an elderly person, rather than the young and spry Steve that we’re all used to seeing. Players will get cramps which slow them down, and they’ll even need to find teeth before they can bite into and chew some of the game’s tougher foods. That’s just the start too – there is much more to this mod.

Bingo fans will probably love the Bingo Card item, which is crafted using a piece of paper and several golden nuggets. These cards require players to carry an emerald if they want to actually use the card. The game will fill in the card itself, and you can win up to five diamonds per play, or nothing at all if you happen to be unlucky. Fortunately there’s also a cane item to help you move around in case the game doesn’t go so well and you feel like doing something else. While held, the cane will help you to move faster, so it’s quite useful.

The Minecramp Mod also includes playing cards which are made with paper and red rose dye. These will cause random effects to happen when the cards are used as items, and not all of these effects are necessarily good. You’ve been warned. Interestingly enough, there is a special Old Ore which you can dig out of caves. Refining it into a basic powder form and then turning that into a potion will yield a potion of youth which temporarily cancels all effects of being old for the player. Glasses will improve your vision and dentures will let you eat foods without becoming ill.

Bingo Card:

To Play, you need to bet an emerald on the card, do this by right clicking the card with an emerald in your inventory.
Play by right clicking a second time, you can win from 0-5 diamonds.

Knitting Needle:

Right click an entity to ***** with a needle.

Old Essence:

Find old ore in caves, smelt to get old essence.

teeth Teeth:

You need to wear teeth to eat food without getting ill.

Potion of Youth:

Drink to become Young Again! Added ‘Young’ Potion Effect, not affected by any old effects!

Make your vision better!

Teeth and Glasses:

Both in one!

How to install Minecramp Mod?

This mod requires “Minecraft Forge” in order to operate. It is incredibly easy to download and set up, so might as well get to it!

Download the latest mod versions
Place the mod in the mods folder of your .minecraft. If you are not sure where this is, it is located here: /Users/you/AppData/roaming/.minecraft
