More Materials Mod for Minecraft 1.11/1.10.2/1.9.4

The More Materials mod is every builder’s dream. In total, this mod adds 8 new stone blocks, 9 new types of wood, 5 new kinds of sand, 5 different gravel textures, 6 new dirt blocks, 6 kinds of marble, and 4 new lighting items to brighten up your new rooms made of these new materials. With nearly 40 new construction blocks to choose from, in a wide variety of colors and textures, you have more options with this mod installed than you ever possibly could in vanilla Minecraft. It’s a massive amount of content to add to the game with a single mod, that’s for sure.

Like other mods which add a lot of content to Minecraft, you’re better off automatically installing the More Materials mod using Forge than trying to do it manually, on your own. The mod was specifically designed to work with Forge, so this shouldn’t be too much of a hassle to do. That said, More Materials should integrate seamlessly with any other Forge mods you have installed too, so you probably don’t need to worry about any errors or compatibility issues if you run this mod alongside other Forge mods. That’s a big deal, considering the size and scope of this specific mod.

If you’re looking to build a unique and interesting online world for players to join and enjoy, this could be the perfect mod for you. Likewise, if you’re really into the construction aspect of Minecraft and you like building in general, there’s nothing but good stuff in this mod. Not only can you use these new blocks to build homes, farms, mansions and whatever else, but you can also use them to craft those giant art images which are so popular. Usually players make those out of wool but with all the new colors and textures in the More Materials mod, even that part of Minecraft gets an update.
