Next Level is a parkour map which takes the standard jumping and landing to the next level, for lack of a better term. The map involves plenty of times bow shots, automatic boost jumping from active pistons and other things you don’t find in too many other parkour maps. The nicest part is that it manages to do all of these things without forcing any mods or other non-vanilla content on the player. If you can play Minecraft right now, you can play through this map without any problems. Well, at least until you get to the more difficult stages later in the map, at least.

That’s right – the Next Level map is actually several different stages all combined into one convenient package, so you don’t need to download any additional chapters or other content to experience the full map. Next Level boasts other unique features too, like the inability to jump on some sections of the map, as well as not being able to walk off an occupied block; this combination of features means the player will really need to focus on solving different puzzles to progress through the map even a little bit. It’s an interesting take on an old concept, and that’s enough to make Next Level worth mentioning.
