OctoCourse Map for Minecraft 1.10.2

OctoCourse is a puzzle map that’s definitely unlike any other maps that you’ve had experiences with before. Maps of the puzzle category are quite enjoyable for players who like to strain their mental skills and put them through the ultimate test, but one slight flaw with them is that they become a bit dull after a while because they keep giving players repetitive things to do over and over again. OctoCourse on the other hands manages to make things a whole lot more interesting by adding a few parkour elements into the mix alongside the usual puzzle based gameplay in order to keep things fresh.

The OctoCourse map has a total of eight different levels to complete, and every single level manages to provide players with an engaging experience. The puzzle sequences of the map are quite difficult so it may take a while before you’re able to get through them, but the parkour sequences, on the other hand, aren’t really that challenging so as long as you have decent parkour skills, you should be able to complete them with relative ease without any major struggle.

OctoCourse has been inspired by the fun browser based game known as Platform Racing 2 and even features its own distinct resource pack designed to make it look more similar to the game that it’s been based on. The map runs seamlessly on servers as well as long as you have command blocks enabled which is definitely great for those who’d like to implement it on their servers. OctoCourse has been made to run on any version of Minecraft that’s 1.10 or above so as long as your game version is correct, then you should be able to run it fine without any noteworthy technical issues. It’s overall a refreshing map that provides a challenging and intriguing experience.
