Popcap Games is the company behind popular PC and smart device titles like Plants vs Zombies. By combining such a simple but entertaining game with another simple but entertaining game like Minecraft, it turned out something pretty amazing was possible. The Plants vs Zombies map is a fully playable map on Minecraft which acts just like a level on the Popcap game. Players are set in a field of flowers with zombies spawning on one end. They try to get to the player’s house on the other end of the yard, and the game ends when the house health hits zero.
It’s not just you vs the zombies though. With several functional flowers in the field which you can turn on to fight for you, it’s possible to hold off the zombies or even kill them all if you know what you’re doing. They will drop gold ingots at random, which can be thrown into holes at found at the foot of each flower to turn on that flower for several minutes. Get enough of the flowers going at one time and it should be possible to keep them going with the gold they cause to drop from killing the zombies. Despite how slowly the zombies move, this map is surprisingly fast-paced.
