Pointillism HD Resource Pack for Minecraft 1.10.2

The name of the Pointillism HD resource pack has been inspired by the old technique that originated back in 1886. Pointillism is basically a form of painting in which colored dots are applied in a very specific pattern in order to form an image, and this particular texture pack tries to incorporate this same technique into the textures of Minecraft in order to make for visuals that look distinct and highly appealing. The Pointillism HD texture pack is definitely a one of a kind so if you’re looking for a texture pack that’s unlike the other then we highly recommend choosing this one.

The Pointillism HD resource pack does an excellent job of enhancing Minecraft’s textures and elevating them to a whole new level. The intriguing drawing technique that this pack uses for its textures might seem rather unorthodox at first, but it actually works out quite nicely and leads to textures that are a delight to look at. The Pointillism HD pack looks quite solid overall but what we like the most about it is the fact that noise is pretty much non-existent in the textures and they look incredibly clean because of this. The clean textures of the pack, combined with its bright and vibrant color scheme, make for some absolutely beautiful visuals.

The Pointillism HD resource pack has a resolution of x128 which is considerably higher than the usual x16, so the textures of the pack definitely look sharper than those of run-of-the-mill Minecraft texture packs. It’s important to keep in mind that Pointillism HD came out a few weeks ago so it’s still far from completion and it’ll be a while before it’s at a 100%.
