Realistic Default Resource Pack for Minecraft 1.8.9

The Realistic Default resource pack is one that’s targeted directly towards the audience that prioritizes realism and simplicity over all else. Over its lifespan, Minecraft has seen a whole lot of weird and wacky resource packs that try to change the default look of the game in various ways in order to give players a refreshing experience and while these packs have certainly made the experience more enjoyable, there’s still no doubting the fact that from time to time players just want a simple and straightforward pack that takes the vanilla look of the game and turns into something absolutely beautiful without compromising on any crucial details.

One of the best things about Realistic Default is that players can use it regardless of their PC specs thanks to its solid optimization and, of course, the fact that the pack runs at a resolution of 16×16. However, in spite of its relatively low resolution, the textures still look phenomenal. There’s a lot of detail in them, the colors are on-point, the items have a very realistic vibe to them, and there’s a whole lot of other eye candy to enjoy. If you want to make your experience even more enjoyable, then you can pair this pack with Wedhro’s Pixel Reality resource pack for some insanely good visuals because the custom sky and lighting effects of Wedhro’s pack synergize very nicely with the art style of this pack.

It’s important to note that if you want the Realistic Default resource pack to run properly, you’ll need to install Optifine beforehand in order to avoid any technical issues and make sure that everything works exactly as it is supposed to without any annoying hiccups here and there.

Did you drag the Realistic Default.zip file in the desktop, and open the Resource pack folder and drag it in? If you did push done go back in then use it.

I absolutely love this for 1.8.9. It looks very good and play’s very well with Forge/Mods. Great jog author! Perhaps you could upgrade it for 1.9? 🙂

Thanks,
