Before going into any further detail about Revritech, it’s worth mentioning beforehand that the pack is still in its beta stages, so it’s bound to have a bunch of bugs and issues. Things might also change in the future if the developer thinks that the change is better for the pack. The Revritech has essentially been designed to provide players a more retro experience. Most packs nowadays tend to focus on either providing players with a modern setting or a medieval setting, but there hasn’t been a lot of focus towards the retro category. However, this pack dives into that category, and it does a pretty good job of capturing its essence.
Revritech has been built keeping the era of 16-bit gaming in mind so you’ll find a lot of features in the pack that have been inspired by that specific era. All the textures of the pack have been designed to give out a nostalgic 16 bit-esque look that’s quite unlike anything that most other packs have to offer, and it looks absolutely fantastic in Minecraft. The colors have also been tuned to feel more realistic and in-line with the 16-bit art style that this pack is going for. Ultimately, all the visual elements synergize nicely with one another and your overall experience with this pack should be very enjoyable.
The Revritech resource pack’s resolution is 16×16 which is probably fitting given the visual style that it’s trying to go for. The best part of this resolution is, of course, the fact that the pack will run on almost every single machine that can handle the vanilla Minecraft visuals without any issues. Perhaps Revritech’s biggest feature is the fact that it comes with a variety of different themes in the textures such as Renaissance and Prison etc.
