Slime Dungeons Mod for Minecraft 1.8

Normally when you hear the word dungeon, you probably think of some dark, dank pit in the ground – like something out of the Diablo series, an expansive subterranean hole, of sorts. In Minecraft, dungeons don’t exclusively appear beneath the ground and they’re relatively small, even in comparison to other places in Minecraft, like strongholds or desert or jungle temples. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t a joy to find; treasure, a mob spawner and more make dungeons nice enough. The Slime Dungeons mod adds a new type of dungeon to Minecraft which spawns slimes and has a couple other interesting traits.

Besides being a great place to farm slime balls whenever you need them, slime dungeons also have special floor and wall blocks which can be mined and broken down into slime balls. The author of the Slime Dungeons mod, wuppy21, states this mod is the perfect addition to another mod he created, which allows you to turn slime balls into edible food items. Whether you use this mod with the Jelly Cubes mod or as a standalone, it is guaranteed to freshen up your Minecraft gameplay experience and give you something new to look forward to the next time your spelunking somewhere.
