Small Suburban House Map for Minecraft 1.8.7

You know those massive cityscape maps that feature dozens or even hundreds of buildings, with lots of things that look great from the outside but have absolutely no content on the inside? They’re pretty, but they lack any depth, which makes them seem kind of lifeless. The Small Suburban House map is kind of the opposite of that – it’s a single home, not much to look at from the outside, but actually livable since it contains rooms, lighting and other things one would expect to find in a living space in Minecraft. That’s not to say the house is ugly or anything, just plain.

Admittedly it’s much more than just a house. The Small Suburban House map features an attached garage along with a massive pool in the backyard, with real cars sitting in the home’s driveway. Well, as real as anything in Minecraft without a mod. They don’t go, but they do sure look like cars. The house features a working fireplace with the fire stuck behind some glass panes. This could be a bit of a problem if you don’t have the No Fire Spread mod installed, since that pretty home will burn to the ground in no time otherwise.
