Resource packs which dress up the flora in Minecraft aren’t as common as you might think. Certainly, there are mods which add different flowers to the game, but since all of the vanilla flowers can be broken down into dying agents, it’s rather difficult to just go switching them out for other flower graphics. The Soartex Invictus resource pack doesn’t replace any flower textures, but it does improve them a lot along with most of the other blocks, items and building bits in the game. The first improvement is the resolution, and from a glance you’ll notice the jacked up bit count on every texture.
At 64x, the textures in Soartex Invictus are actually four times more detailed than those you see in vanilla Minecraft. That level of detail can be a little unsettling to see at first, especially if you’ve never used any resource packs in the past. Throughout this pack, you’ll notice textures which are impeccably clean and well-drawn, with bits of refinement and improvement to be seen in every corner of the world. From wooden planks and chests to enchanting tables, anvils and windows, no texture in Minecraft is untouched by this resource pack.
The fact it is so thorough just adds another point to the list of reasons why the Soartex Invictus resource pack is worth a try. But if you plan on doing that, you’ll want to have a couple other things ready. The latest versions of both Optifine and MCPatcher will both go a long way in making Soartex Invictus look its best and providing a smooth, seamless installation. The pack will still look good without these other add-ons, but if you’re looking for the best possible experience, now you know how to get it.
