Tails Mod

If you’re looking for a Minecraft mod that adds lots of accessories and allows you to customize the way your avatar looks, the Tails mod could be just what you’re seeking. In short, it adds several special tails, along with a number of different animal ears and wings, all of which allow you to make your character look unique and stand out. Most of these added accessories also take well to dye, so you can change their colors and create combinations that really catch the eye. The Tails mod is very aesthetically appealing, but the mod has more to offer than just some pretty graphics.

The different tails added by the Tails mod have their own, unique animations when the player is walking, running or jumping. Or they will – right now animations aren’t dynamic, so whatever you’re doing while wearing a fox tail for example, you just get the one fox tail animation. Still, they look more like actual tails on live dogs or other animals, rather than something you’ve just pasted to the backend of your pants. With something like 16.7 million different color choices for each tint and 3 tints allowed per tail, you can create whatever color scheme you want.

The custom Tails GUI can be accessed by just pressing the ESC button and clicking on the Tails button which you’ll find near the bottom middle of your screen. Feel free to follow the directions given and check out each individual button to see what it does, or just go wild and create something special by breezing through the process without a care. Some people learn better by reading while others learn better by doing, so this isn’t a joke or anything; go ahead and gets your hands dirty if you want to get the most out of the Tails mod.
