The Angel Statue is a creepy yet intriguing adventure map that manages to combine the gameplay elements of horror and adventure maps in near flawless fashion in order to provide players with an experience that they simply won’t be able to forget. The map is the first in what’s potentially going to be a series of maps based around short horror stories and, all things considered, the series definitely has quite a lot of potential if all of its future maps are like this one. It’s highly recommended that you give The Angel Statue a shot if you’re looking for something truly fascinating to enjoy.
The plot of The Angel Statue, as the name suggests, revolves around the statue of an angel. This statue might not seem like much at first sight but there are actually quite a few legends regarding it and, as of recently, strange occurrences have started taking place wherever this statue goes so it’s something that shouldn’t be taken lightly. We can’t really reveal any other major plot details without spoiling too much, so we’ll stop here but we still want to point out that the game’s story is quite intriguing and is definitely among the better ones we’ve experienced in adventure maps.
Onto the gameplay, The Angel Statue has quite a lot of delightful moments to offer. The map, as mentioned earlier, combines various different aspects of adventure and horror maps and the end result is a delightful experience that players won’t be forgetting any time soon. The gameplay is definitely a tad bit more challenging than that of traditional adventure maps, but you’ll be able to get the hang of things just fine in mere minutes as long as you stick with it and stay focused. All said and done, The Angel Statue is a solid adventure map that doesn’t cease to impress.
