The Beneath Mod

The Beneath mod by Shinoow, Darkosto, and Funwayguy is a dimension focused mod that adds an absolutely enormous dimension into the world of Minecraft that players can enjoy if they’ve started to think that the vanilla game world is becoming dull or repetitive for them. The dimension added by this mod is something truly daunting and dangerous as it’s filled to the brim with challenging obstacles that players will have to play around and, on top of this, it simply looks intimidating as well so there’ll always be that eerie feeling that something could go wrong at any moment. We do want to highlight, though, that some functionality of this mod requires the Grue mod to be installed beforehand so make sure you install it if you want to make the most out of The Beneath.

Onto the dimension itself, The Beneath implements a straight up massive dimension for players to explore. The Nether is regarded by many players as a massive place, but The Beneath is even larger than the Nether, so it’s filled to the brim with places for you to explore. All mobs that spawn within this place will also have twice the health and damage than they normally would in other dimensions so you’ll need to think twice before you start picking fights here because you might end up regretting it later on if your character ends up getting annihilated by the overpowered mod.

Of course, it goes without saying that The Beneath is a mod focused more towards the endgame so it’s not really worth using the mod if you’re relatively new to Minecraft because you’ll struggle an immense amount due to having the low-end equipment and of course the lack of experience. All said and done, though, The Beneath is an extraordinary mod that adds an intimidating and challenging dimension for players to explore.

How to install The Beneath Mod?

1. Download Forge installer, open it and install
2. Open the Minecraft launcher and select Forge in the profile list
3. Click Edit Profile and then Open Game Dir, this opens the game folder
4. Create a new folder called mods
5. Download the mod and put it into the mods folder
