The Heist Map for Minecraft 1.8.8

If you’ve ever played through a round of Payday before, then you already have an idea what to expect from The Heist, a Minecraft map which pits the player against a host of security equipment, including surveillance cameras, robotic guards, sonar detectors which pick up sound and other nasty surprises. All of these countermeasures stand between the player and a number of highly valuable prototypes, all of which are housed in the same location. It’s not exactly the most believable Minecraft map you’ll find, but if you’re a fan of games that feature sneaking and slinking around, you’ll love The Heist.

There are several custom, animated textures to check out, as well as a super-powerful Gameband tool which you’ll use to temporarily disable robots, shut down security systems or even stick to the ceiling and avoid being seen by everything until it’s safe to put your feet back on the floor. The name of the game in The Heist is stealth, and that’s not going to sit well with players who are used to running up on and hacking apart anything that tries to get between them and the end of a map. Everyone else will appreciate the 6,000 + command blocks which went into making a unique gameplay experience.
