The Maze Runner Trials is a truly engrossing Minecraft map that, as you can probably tell, has been inspired by The Maze Runner which is a science fiction novel by James Dashner. The map does an excellent job of recreating the intense environment that the novel has always been renowned for and provides a highly enjoyable gameplay experience that we definitely recommend trying out. As far as maze maps go, The Maze Runner Trials is easily one of the best out there and you’ll be missing out if you don’t give it a shot.
The Maze Runner Trials consists of an intricately crafted maze that you’re going to have to navigate through in order to complete the map. The maze is filled to the brim with dangers but, fortunately, there’s a safe area known as the Glad where you can take shelter from the dangers of the maze. There are many things that you’ll need to keep in mind while navigating through the maze in The Maze Runner Trials but perhaps the most important thing that you’ll have to remember is that the place is crawling with mobs known as Grievers and they’ll come out at night time to sting you. In order to avoid the Grievers, you will have to hide in the Glade until sunrise when they go back into hiding.
Compatibility and Technical Aspects
The Maze Runner Trials doesn’t consist of any gamebreaking bugs or issues that would hinder your experience in a significant way so your experience with the map will likely be a smooth and enjoyable one. The map’s available for Minecraft 1.13 so you’ll need to be on the same version of the game if you want to play it.
Overall, The Maze Runner Trials is a top-of-the-line maze map with a captivating setting and engaging gameplay.
