The Pixelumble is a simplistic resource pack that absolutely blew us away from the moment we laid eyes on it because, as far as simplistic packs go, it is one of the most appealing choices currently available. A lot of packs in this particular category achieve a simplistic look by straight up stripping the detail from Minecraft’s textures, but The Pixelumble utilizes a variety of creative design techniques that give the textures a unique look and make the overall visual experience quite easy on the eyes. Before we go into any further detail, though, we want to highlight that this pack is only compatible with version 1.12.2, 1.11.2 and 1.10.2 of Minecraft so, if you want to use it, it’s likely that you’ll have to downgrade your Minecraft client.
Onto the textures themselves, you will not be disappointed with what The Pixelumble brings to the table. In spite of the overall simplistic theme, the pack manages to bring a variety of refreshing texture designs to the mix that make Minecraft an absolute treat to look at. Detail is also something that the pack doesn’t seem to compromise much on and, on top of all this, every single texture is backed up by vibrant colors that do an amazing job of elevating the visuals to a whole new level.
The Pixelumble resource pack’s textures have a resolution of 16×16 which is basically the Minecraft standard so, as long as you’re playing Minecraft on a computer that can handle the vanilla version of Minecraft without running into an array of frame-rate related troubles, you won’t face any issues getting this pack to run smoothly.
