If you’re looking for a map that mixes together elements of player versus monster, puzzle and parkour gameplay all into one package, The Redstone Bug is worth checking out. The map has a major Redstone gimmick where certain circuits must be broken and the free Redstone then used to establish new circuits in open to open doors, move walls and floors and active levers, switches and other things. It’s a very interesting take on puzzle gameplay but again, the map isn’t all about building circuits; there are plenty of fights and more than a few difficult jumps to make as well.
Despite the great deal of variety and interesting gameplay elements in The Redstone Bug map, it should take less than an hour for the average player to complete. However, there is one way in which it manages to st and out – players can do poorly enough on certain puzzles or other parts of the map that it becomes impossible to successfully complete The Redstone Bug. In this case, the player would need to reinstall a fresh copy of the map and get rid of the permanently broken one. The map is short and not especially difficult, but the stakes are higher than in most.
