Fans of the Touhou vertical shooter franchise get to see their favorite shrine maiden, Reimu, with every new entry in the series. Other characters, except for maybe Marisa, aren’t as popular and don’t get seen nearly as often. With the Touhou Alice’s Doll mod, you can literally create Alice Margatroid in a Minecraft world if you so choose. With a few new recipes, you can start making dolls just like hers, which you can instruct to perform a number of simple tasks for you. For Alice fans, there are no better mods than this one for emulating their favorite character.

You get access to six different dolls in total, and each of these six dolls has unique abilities which help the player in one way or another. The blue Shanghai doll acts as a mob radar, warning the player to approaching monsters. The red Hourai Doll is a miner and that’s pretty simple. The Ooedo doll is like your very own creeper which will seek out the nearest hostile mob and suicide bomb it. Russia dolls will collect drops, Germany dolls chop trees and London dolls seek out spawners for the player. With all six dolls working together, most players would find dying a difficult thing to do.

This doesn’t mean players become invincible once they build a few dolls, though. Because all of the different dolls are highly vulnerable to fire, you’ll see them get picked off quickly if you decide to drag them along to hunt some ghasts in the Nether. Likewise, you’ll want to watch out for pools of lava and other fire hazards throughout the overworld. The dolls can get stuck on the paths you provide them too, but giving them a little push usually gets them moving again. The Touhou Alice’s Doll mod brings all the dolls of Alice Margatroid to the world of Minecraft.

How to install Touhou Alice’s Doll Mod?

1. Install Minecraft Forge.
2. Copy this ZIP file to “.minecraft\mods\” folder.
3. When you start the game once, “.minecraft\config\ touhou_alice_dolls.cfg” is generated. Please change config file If necessary.
