TrappedChest is a straight up gorgeous Minecraft resource pack that originally came out back in 2013 and, over the past few years, it’s been dormant because of a lack of updates. However, as of recently, the pack’s been brought back to life through a brand new update and we couldn’t be happier because this is an exceptional resource pack that has definitely stood the test of time and, even today, is more than capable of elevating your Minecraft experience to new heights by allowing you to enjoy some absolutely breathtaking visuals that a lot of other packs simply cannot come close to.
The main reason behind the incredible visuals that the TrappedChest offers is the fact that this pack comes loaded with a variety of expertly crafted features that enhance the visuals quite a bit. The pack features connected textures as well as overlays and randomizations that are truly a sight to behold. Alongside this, the pack features a sleek user-interface as well that’s significantly better than what vanilla Minecraft has to offer. As for the actual textures themselves, they’re loaded with detail, have vibrant colors and don’t seem to be noisy at all so you’re definitely going to like the way they look.
TrappedChest has a resolution of 128×128 and this is probably why tis textures have so much detail. It goes without saying that you’ll need a high-end PC to run this resource pack without frame-rate troubles bogging down your experience. Another thing worth remembering is that the pack requires Optifine or MCPatcher to function at its absolute best so it’s definitely worth having one of these two things installed before you use this pack.
