Minecraft players who enjoy creating complicated contraptions using redstone will love the TubeStuff mod, which adds a number of new machines to the game. You get blocks like buffers, which act something like chests with hoppers attached, except the fuller they are the more quickly they pass items along on their destined path. As for that pathing, Using the custom blocks and items available in this mod is much faster and less resource intensive than mass producing hoppers, so it’s a nice addition to Minecraft for that alone. But there’s more to this mod.
Besides some fun redstone blocks, the TubeStuff mod also features what could be the best storage item in the game – the black hole chest. While it doesn’t look like much from a glance, it’s only when you get inside of the chest that you realize just what you’re dealing with. It is a storage box with infinite space. The number of pages will simply scroll on as long as you wish and each page has about as much room as a standard double chest. You can pack literally everything you will ever mine, chop or farm in your world into one of these chests. After all that, it will still have room for more of your stuff.
The duplicator is another nice block added by the TubeStuff mod. Basically, if you attach an outgoing pipe to it and stash an item of your choice inside the duplicator, it will ceaselessly produce copies of the held item. This is great for server hosts who want created dungeons to drop loot more than once, like for every player who comes through said dungeon. Blocks like these add a bunch of new possibilities to Minecraft and it’s because TubeStuff contains so many blocks like this that it is a mod worth trying out right now.
