If you’ve ever had dreams and fantasies of becoming a vampire in Minecraft so you can terrify everyone and everything during the night time, then the Vampirism mod will allow you to do so. It’s a very well thought out and near perfectly executed mod that gives its users access to a ton of incredible powers that they simply cannot get in vanilla Minecraft. It goes without saying that playing as a vampire in Minecraft feels significantly difficult from the usual gameplay, so you’ll probably need to spend some time getting used to the basics. However, once you’re settled into things, the Vampirism mod will provide you with hours upon hours of fun.
Through the Vampirism mod, you’ll basically be able to convert your character into a full-fledged vampire. Becoming a vampire isn’t easy since you have to go through a whole bunch of rituals to do so but, once you’ve finally become one, you’ll be given access to a whole bunch of special abilities. As a vampire, you’ll move significantly faster, will be stronger and will be able to see much better during the night time. It’s worth mentioning that you’ll receive quite a lot of damage if you head out into the sun as a vampire, so you’ll need to be careful about this. As a vampire, you also won’t be able to utilize traditional sources of food and must sate your hunger by sucking blood from villagers or animals.
The Vampirism comes with a pretty neat progression system that’ll allow you to level up as you keep playing the game as a vampire. As your vampire character levels up, it’ll gain access to more special abilities and will generally keep getting stronger. Some of the more iconic skills include bat transformation and the ability to revive your fallen comrades.
