Volcano Parkour is a delightful parkour map for players who want to see just how good they are at Minecraft parkour. While there are certainly a few beginner friendly parkour maps available for players to try out, most maps in this category tend to be insanely difficult, and the Volcano Parkour map is no different. It’s been designed for players who want a challenging experience that’ll push their skills to the absolute limit. We definitely recommend steering clear from this map if you’re new to Minecraft parkour but, if you’re an experienced veteran and can hold your own, Volcano Parkour is sure to give you a trying but delightful time.

As the name suggests, the Volcano Parkour map takes place inside a volcano and, naturally, the place is littered with danger. In terms of plot, there’s a pretty vague story to follow about discovering secrets from the mythical volcano but this story isn’t focused on all that much, but this really isn’t that big of a deal because parkour maps have always prioritized gameplay above all else. The volcano based setting is actually quite common so, if you’ve played parkour maps before then, you’ve probably had your share of experience with similarly themed maps. However, while the theme is common, this particular map still feels fresh and engaging thanks to the creative level design and variety of features that it has to offer.

Onto the technical side of things, the Volcano Parkour map doesn’t seem to have any noticeable bugs or issues in it, so it’s unlikely that you’ll run into trouble while using the map. The map’s available for Minecraft 1.12.X only so you’ll need to make sure that you’re playing an up to date version of the game before you try Volcano Parkour out because you might end up running into technical difficulties otherwise.
